TILAPIA
Tilapia is a widely introduced species in aquaculture with many different types found in Africa and coastal rivers of Israel.
Marketed fresh and frozen, this farmed fish has fairly white meat, with a mild, bland taste that goes well with sauces. It can be steamed, pan-fried, microwaved and baked.
