INDUSTRIAL CHEMICALS
The chemical industry continues to grow with the use of oil, natural gas, air, water, metals, and minerals as raw materials for production. Due to the diversity and use of basic chemicals, a lot of companies invest in Research and Development to improve the properties of existing chemicals and develop new items. The overall use of chemicals is poured into direct end-user consumer products i.e. pharmaceuticals, personal care and home care products that provide convenience.

Polymers and plastics comprise 80% of the world industry output and serve the electronic and packaging industries closely. All other chemicals are divided into basic and intermediate types that focus on mining, agriculture, construction, metals and engineering, healthcare, textile, food processing and national defense.

Citric Acid
World Good Way Inc supplies industrial grade citric acid anhydrous and monohydrate. Different granulations are available from coarse, to medium and fine granulations. Citric acid anhydrous and monohydrate are available in 25 kg net poly-lined paper or craft bags. Packing of 500-1000 Kg per bag is also available upon request.

Citric acid has all encompassing uses for the pharmaceuticals and other technical applications. provides effervescence to antacid, analgesic, artificial sweetener tablets and denture cleansers; maintain rapid dissolution and stability of active ingredients in oral tablets and oral liquids; enhance activity of preservatives; mask the bitter taste in chewable tablets; and, improve palatability and solubility of cathartics and analgesics.

In personal care consumer products such as shampoo, astringent, lotion, etc citric acid is widely used due to its unique characteristics to adjusts pH and enhance action of methyl parabens, a known preservative used in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries thus increasing the shelf life of the products.

Citric acid is also used in detergent and cleaners product because it has the ability to optimize pH and seize trace metal ions, replace phosphates, eliminate metal oxidation products from the surface of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and remove chloride stress cracking. Some other applications of industrial grade citric acid can be observed in textiles and oil well treatment, tobacco and adhesives processing, and animal feed production among others. Polyethylene
Polyethylene is the most popular plastic in the world and the simplest among all commercial polymers. It is a polymer consisting of long chains of the monomer ethylene. It is used in the manufacture of a wide range of products such as plastic bags, containers, toys, electrical appliances and other general housewares.

There are different forms of polyethylene depending on their density. Common PE forms are the following:

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) has a density greater than 0.941 g/cc and is characterized by providing stiffness in its products. Common applications of this material are found in milk jugs, detergent bottles, margarine tubs, garbage containers and water pipes.

Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is defined as having 0.910 - 0.940 g/cc density but it provides substantially good clarity in film applications for plastic bags and film wrap.

Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) has a 0.915 - 0.925 g/cc range for its density and it exhibits properties of both HDPE and LDPE making it ideal in both film applications with adequate sturdiness in its finished product.

Our PE materials share common characteristics in machine processing such as processability, flowability and high resistance providing the ideal products.
Polypropylene
Polypropylene is derived from the polymerization of the olefin, propylene. This material is the second most popularly consumed polymer and is known to be reasonably economical, chemical resistant and sturdy. It is commonly used in the areas of food packaging, textiles, plastic parts, laboratory equipment, medical syringes, fibers, automotive components and manufacturing other industrial parts.

This material has different types which can be classified commonly as Copolymer PP and Homopolymer PP.

Homopolymer polypropylene is the most common material used. It has a higher tensile strength than copolymer polypropylene and it is less costly.

Copolymer polypropylene has higher impact strength but lower tensile strength. It is used for products impacted by the load, products that are handled a lot, and for applications that may be subjected to mechanical abuse.

Our PP materials possess the characteristics such as high stiffness, impact resistance, transparency and flowability in machine processing. The product output is ideal for containers that carry large volumes.
